SYNOPSIS: When Sela Chavez inspects the unit in a strip
mall that will soon become her very own dance studio, she’s on the cusp of a
dream come true. Until she spies Damien
Rivera, her brother’s boss. She knows he’s financing the project, and she knows
he’s a player.
When he
invites her to a concert, she can’t seem to look away from his gaze. But
gorgeous eyes or not, she has no intention of becoming Damien’s next conquest.
Damien
is part of a group of friends financing the efforts to put a stop to The
Madeline Project. The program now has a
mind of its own, thanks to a virus called Tommy Twister. These men have power, resources, and money,
but they’re as ruthless and possessive as the storms ravaging Earth.
They
call themselves the Weathermen.
REVIEW: Sela
has dreamed of owning her own dance studio and her dream is about to come true.
The one problem is Damien Rivera. He is a sexy, hot man and also her brother.
She knows he is a player and wants to stay far away from him.
Damien can’t believe his eyes
when he sees Sela all grown up and looking great. He talks her into going to a
concert where her favorite band and his will be. He has a private seating area
and she loves it. She can’t seem to stop looking at him. She is so turned on by
him she starts to become aroused. He watches her and gets so turned on.
This story has more than just
erotic romance though. There is a mystery that the weathermen are trying to
solve and when Damien looks closer the foreman on the mall job looks like he is
involved someone. Damien has Sela’s brother fire him and then they start having
problems at the mall. When Sela is in her unit trying to get ready for the
opening, a bomb explodes and Damien runs to her rescue. He won’t let her out of
his sight. He realizes that she is the one for him. Like I have said in
previous reviews when the Weathermen fall they fall hard and fast.
I liked this story. It was great
to see another Weatherman finds his mate. I loved how they both were so
adventurous and you could tell Sela loved it as much as Damien did. There were
some BDSM elements and it brought out another side to Damien. The story of the
weather project is also getting more interesting with each book. The one thing I
didn’t like was how the book ended so abrupt. I thought there could have been a
little more time given for the two to fall in love and then for Damien to pop
the question.
I highly recommend this book.
Thank you for the review! <3
