REVIEW: Lexi has had to be in control of herself her whole life. Even from an early age she was taking care of herself. Now she finds it hard to let go and give control to a man. Gabriel is the Dom to tame her and make her feel safe. Lexi is a vet and when Gabriel finds a puppy at a job site he immediately takes the puppy to Lexi. He lets her take complete control of the situation and he appreciates how confident she is in her job. Gabriel decides to keep the puppy and takes Lexi shopping for him.

They both have been working on trust and letting go. Over the past few weeks Lexi has let Gabriel dictate certain aspects of her life. It could be small things like ordering food for her at lunch but eventually she begins to let go. They share some steamy nights together at Gabriel’s home and he decides he doesn’t want to end their relationship. He wants to get rid of the contract and be with Lexi. She is worried that the time for them to end the contract is coming soon but doesn’t want to end their relationship either. They both are afraid to say anything.

The time comes for Lexi to submit to Gabriel at the club and he knows she is very nervous. He makes her feel completely comfortable with touching her and moving around to observe the different scenes playing out. He goes to their play area and Lexi hesitates for a brief moment then takes her place at the cross. She becomes nervous when she notices people around watching. Gabriel blindfolds her so she can feel what he is doing to her. She actually reaches subspace and she has never done that before. Gabriel and Lexi have to figure out where to go now with their arrangement.

I loved this story. I was pulled into the story from the beginning and read it in one sitting. The title is very fitting since not only does the characters melt your heart but having the puppy, Zeus included just makes the whole story come together. Gabriel was such an understanding man and even though Lexi was so down on herself for being a failure he continued working with her. He saw strength in her and didn’t want to give up on her. He got to know her before he rushed her into anything. It was baby steps but it all worked out in the end.

I highly recommend this story.

REVIEW: Danica is supposed to be a dominatrix but she has lost her last sub and the owner from Angels and Demons, the BDSM club she frequents thinks she needs to take a break from the scene. Danica feels like she is losing her touch and not only doesn’t satisfy her subs but the control doesn’t do anything for her anymore. She plans on staying home and taking a break from the whole scene.

Grant is Danica’s college friend and has a huge favor to ask her. He needs her to be in a photo shoot for him to present to his families magazine business. But there are ulterior motives to getting Danica to Costa Rica.  Grant has been in love with Danica all along but they have both never been available at the same time. Grant wants to take the business in a different direction with the shoot he is funding in Costa Rica. He wants to bring it into the current century.

But as Grant and Danica are exploring the island, a hurricane comes up and they wind up in a cabin up in the woods trying to keep warm and safe. Grant starts putting the moves on Danica and she tells him she isn’t his type.

Grant and Danica talk about being attracted to each other and wind up mixing friendship with pleasure. Danica can’t believe they are doing this. She doesn’t want to lose his friendship and he is definitely an alpha. Danica wonders how they are going to work together. When Grant pops the “L” word that he loves her, she panics. She runs away from him into the hurricane. She must be out of her mind. She winds up being washed down the side of the mountain and ends up on a ledge.  She calls for help and Grant winds up coming to her rescue. Once she is in his arms they talk about their relationship and decide to give it a chance. She warns Grant that they need to take things slow. He is just glad she is giving them a chance.

I absolutely loved this story. Curvy Diversion is a great title for this story. Diversion is what Danica needed from her BDSM lifestyle and Grant is the perfect Diversion. Not only did the photo shoot wind up ruined but he got some beautiful pictures of Danica that they can use for the shoot. He just has to get it into the magazine. He doesn’t want to use them because they are so personal and his. But Danica talks him into it. This is the second book in the Curvy series but it can be read by itself. I recommend reading all the Curvy books. They are just so hot and exciting.

I am giving this story 5 Flaming Hearts.

REVIEW:  Skye Daniels is a reporter for Music Video Channel. She has been given an assignment she doesn’t want but will take because she trusts her boss, Dwayne. She will be interviewing the comeback of the “JC” rock star. She used to dream about him as a young teenage girl. So she goes to the concert where she will be interviewing JC and his bandmates after the concert.

She is seated at the front of the stage and her cameraman goes to the other side of the stage to get some good footage, and then enters the sexiest man Skye has ever seen. It is Brock Stroker, JC’s best friend. He heads straight to Skye and asks to join her. She is stunned anyone as good looking as him would want to be with her but lets him join her for the concert. 

As the concert goes on, Brock makes sure to touch Skye somehow either by holding hands or brushing against her leg. Skye is getting excited by the attention and the touches.

After the concert she goes back stage and JC wants some privacy so the band and her cameraman leave. It is Skye, Brock and JC. They tell her they want her and explain their relationship dynamic. Skye wants to believe them but she has so many bad things in her mind and her past she can’t let go.

They all go to the hotel JC is staying at and the men show her how they feel. They each make love to her and it is wonderful. She still has those doubts in her head but she figures she should enjoy this while she can. She is waiting for them to get tired of her and move on.

An interview with a singer from the past that had gone bad for Skye is in the back of her head when she learns that the guy has been let out of jail. She has a nightmare at her apartment and when the guys can’t reach her they have her landlord let them in. They are there to help her through the terrible ordeal. The singer obviously isn’t over her and ambushes the three and shoots Brock. Skye is thrown in the cab and breaks her arm. They are both taken to the hospital and this is the perfect opportunity to whisk Skye away to Brock’s home.

They are all falling in love and have a hard time fighting their feelings but the guys wind up dishing out some punishment because Skye doubts them or talks about her in a bad way.

I really enjoyed this story. It shows that there are so many types of people and who they fall in love with. It is the person they fall in love with and their looks. I understand how Skye always doubted herself. She had so many bad memories of her parents not wanting her and even her grandma didn’t. She blocked out something so horrendous no child should go through. Once she lets her guard down and tells Brock and JC about it, it is like she is free now to live her life and love her men.

JC also has to overcome a horrible loss in his past and his addictions before he can get on with his life. No one knows anything about his past. Skye does now because they have told her everything.

I highly recommend this book. It is very erotic and has many love scenes that steam up the pages.

REVIEW: The two main characters of the story Cassie and Marcus both work together at Fantasies Inc. Cassie is in customer relations and Marcus is in R&D. He makes all types of toys to pleasure women and men. Seeing co-workers is a big problem. Marcus is ruthless and is in hot pursuit of Cassie. He finally gets her to agree for one weekend and he hopes that once he has her she will never leave him. They start off very slow. Marcus has many toys that he has created and wants to try on Cassie.

Cassie is afraid of turning into her mom, a submissive who is into pain. But what she doesn’t know is there are different types of doms and submissives. Marcus isn’t like her dad. He is very kind and when she uses her safe word he stops right away. She learns that she can trust Marcus. He won’t hurt her.

He does give her the most pleasure she has had in her life. He takes care of her by cooking and giving her a bath. Everything any woman would want in a man. She falls in love with Marcus over the weekend but leaves him before he wakes up. She plans to leave Fantasies Inc. so she won’t have to face Marcus but he has beaten her to the punch. He is already in the boss’s office getting ready to resign himself.

I loved this story. It was a short one but still had a lot of sexy scenes. It was amazing to feel how much Marcus cared for her and you could feel that through the author’s words. He loved her already before he even had a chance to win her over. Cassie has a great heart. She is very protective of it and doesn’t want to get hurt. She refuses to be anything like her mother and she isn’t at all.

I highly recommend this story.
