TAKING PASSION BY STORM BY RAVENNA TATE

Title: Taking Passion by Storm
Series: The Weathermen Book #6
Author: Ravenna Tate
Genre: Erotic, Futuristic, Sci Fi Romance
Pages: 147
Publisher: Evernight Publishing

SYNOPSIS:  When Nadine Jarvis’s father disappears in a tornado on the surface during his Storm Trooper duties, life-long friend Addison Carlyle puts together a search team.  Nadine convinces him to let her come along, where she embarks on a journey that changes her life forever.

Addison is part of a group of friends financing the efforts to put a stop to the Madeline Project.  The program now has a mind of its own, thanks to a virus called Tommy Twister.  These men have power, resources, and money, but they’re as ruthless and possessive as the storms ravaging Earth.

They call themselves the Weathermen.

REVIEW:  This is the 6th book in the Weathermen series. Nadine Jarvis has been hiding out at the same job and same home since her attack that only the school and police know about. She hasn’t even told her father. He is a storm trooper and is working on the surface when a tornado comes up and he is separated from his group.

Addison Carlyle is a member of the Weathermen group that are all working to find out who has the Madeline project and trying to stop it. They want to be able to one day return to the surface. He has to deliver the horrible news to Nadine and decides to form a search party and go up to find her father. Nadine decides that it would be unbearable to wait underground for news about her father. He is the only family she has left. She tells Addison that she is going with them and Addison understands that it is something she has to do.

Addison has fought his attraction for Nadine ever since he met her as a teenager. He is good friends with her dad and has always kept his distance. Now the woman who is in front of him is playing havoc on his senses. Nadine has been attracted to Addison also. They can’t fight the pull between them and they get separated from their group on the surface and wind up in a cave alone. They are so into each other and it is only a matter of time before they are sleeping together.

His crew gets to their cave and tells them that they found Nadine’s’ dad’s camera. They had a lead and were going to find him.

You will have to read the story to find out if Nadine finds her father and will Addison and Nadine have a chance at a happy ending.

I loved this story. Ravenna Tate has done it again. I love the story and she continues to build on it with each new member of the Weathermen that she unveils. I love that they all are so focused on their work that they aren’t looking for love and it happens to be right in front of them.
I can’t wait until the next book to see what happens in this story and I hope it is even more exciting than this book.

I highly recommend it.

A SLOW BURNING DANCE BY RAVENNA TATE

Title: A Slow Burning Dance
Series: The Weathermen Book #5
Author: Ravenna Tate
Genre: BDSM, Erotic Romance, Sci-Fi, Futuristic
Pages: 123
Publisher: Evernight Publishing

SYNOPSIS:  When Sela Chavez inspects the unit in a strip mall that will soon become her very own dance studio, she’s on the cusp of a dream come true.  Until she spies Damien Rivera, her brother’s boss. She knows he’s financing the project, and she knows he’s a player.

When he invites her to a concert, she can’t seem to look away from his gaze. But gorgeous eyes or not, she has no intention of becoming Damien’s next conquest.

Damien is part of a group of friends financing the efforts to put a stop to The Madeline Project.  The program now has a mind of its own, thanks to a virus called Tommy Twister.  These men have power, resources, and money, but they’re as ruthless and possessive as the storms ravaging Earth.

They call themselves the Weathermen.

REVIEW: Sela has dreamed of owning her own dance studio and her dream is about to come true. The one problem is Damien Rivera. He is a sexy, hot man and also her brother. She knows he is a player and wants to stay far away from him.

Damien can’t believe his eyes when he sees Sela all grown up and looking great. He talks her into going to a concert where her favorite band and his will be. He has a private seating area and she loves it. She can’t seem to stop looking at him. She is so turned on by him she starts to become aroused. He watches her and gets so turned on.

This story has more than just erotic romance though. There is a mystery that the weathermen are trying to solve and when Damien looks closer the foreman on the mall job looks like he is involved someone. Damien has Sela’s brother fire him and then they start having problems at the mall. When Sela is in her unit trying to get ready for the opening, a bomb explodes and Damien runs to her rescue. He won’t let her out of his sight. He realizes that she is the one for him. Like I have said in previous reviews when the Weathermen fall they fall hard and fast.

I liked this story. It was great to see another Weatherman finds his mate. I loved how they both were so adventurous and you could tell Sela loved it as much as Damien did. There were some BDSM elements and it brought out another side to Damien. The story of the weather project is also getting more interesting with each book. The one thing I didn’t like was how the book ended so abrupt. I thought there could have been a little more time given for the two to fall in love and then for Damien to pop the question.

I highly recommend this book.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS BY RAVENNA TATE

Title: Exclusive Access
Series: The Weathermen #4
Author: Ravenna Tate
Genre: Erotic, BDSM, Futuristic, Sci-Fi
Pages: 150
Publisher: Evernight Publishing

SYNOPSISReporter Julianne Wallis hasn’t stopped thinking about Kane Bannerman since she seduced him to get a story five years ago. Now she’s back for a second story, but this time she wants more than sex from Kane.  She wants the secret he is hiding.

Kane is a part of a group of friends financing the efforts to put a stop to The Madeline Project. The program now has a mind of its own, thanks to a virus called Tommy Twister.  These men have power, resources, and money, but they’re as ruthless and possessive as the storms ravaging Earth.

They call themselves the Weathermen.

REVIEW: Kane has been agonizing for 5 years over Julianne a reporter who he had a quickie in his office with and she was just after a story. When Julianne shows up in his office again he is furious. He wonders how she got by his assistant. She claims to be a legitimate reporter now and wants to get the inside story from him about the special IT groups him and his friends are working to build up. Kane wonders how she would have found out about something that was secret. He craves the feel of Julianne and she isn’t immune to him either. He has to talk to his group of Weathermen to see if they will give her the story but he doesn’t sound promising to her.

Kane and Julianne are drawn to each other and haven’t really been with anyone serious for 5 yrs. I believe they were waiting for each other. Now that they have gotten together again neither wants to let the other go.

This is the 4th installment in the Weathermen series. While series sometimes become repetitious and boring I find that each book gets better than the one before. I am pulled into each story and with each one another member of their group is introduced. In this story we find out there are a total of 12 Weathermen. I can’t wait to see how each of the men finds their significant other as they continue to search for the hackers who have the Madeline Project and created the Tommy Twister Virus. At the beginning of each story is a little bit of background about what has taken place and because of that each book could be read by itself. I recommend reading them in order.

I loved this book. I think these men don’t mess around. When they fall in love they fall hard and fast. They know who they are looking for and once they find that special person they don’t waste any time to make them theirs.

I highly recommend this book.

I am giving it a 5 Flaming Hearts!
